Device comments

The mobile loop is lying flat on the counter with various pharmacy info signs placed on top. It therefore, appears to be for ornamental purposes only.

Over last few months I have communicated with Boots head office and store manager about the installation of a hearing loop in the pharmacy. I was originally informed that the store had a mobile loop that could be brought out on request. The store manager, agreed that this was not really appropriate and had the loop put on the counter. The loop however, does not work and I have mentioned this on various occasions since. On my last visit the manager just disagreed and said that it was working. Pharmacy staff are aware of the device now but have no idea of how it should work (on one occasion a member of staff picked it up and shook it to try to get it work!)
